Senior Vice President, Ogilvy Government Relations
With more than twenty-five years in government and public affairs - as an elected official and an advisor to national political figures - Tony Bullock brings a depth of knowledge and hands-on experience to Ogilvy Government Relations.
As chief of staff to former Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan From 1996 to 2000, Bullock served as the principal political advisor, legislative strategist and spokesperson for the senator. He was responsible for the operation of the office with 60 full-time employees in Washington, D.C., New York City and upstate New York. Bullock coordinated the confirmation process for federal judicial nominees from New York, served as principal liaison to the New York House delegation and maintained ties to county political leaders and local elected officials.
Most recently, Bullock worked for five years as an executive vice president for public affairs at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, helping clients facing challenges on the Hill and across the country. Before joining Ogilvy PR he served for three and a half years as senior advisor and director of communications to D.C. Mayor Anthony A. Williams.
Before moving to Washington, Bullock held elected office on Long Island for 13 consecutive years, serving four terms as supervisor of the Town of East Hampton. Prior to his election as town supervisor, he represented Eastern Long Island on the Suffolk County Legislature following three years as a councilman for the Town of East Hampton.
Tony holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Renee, and children Monty and Alexandra.
