Former CFTC Counsel Joins Firm

Washington, DC - Ogilvy Government Relations announced today that it will add De’Ana Dow to the firm’s growing financial services and energy practices.  Ogilvy Government Relations is one of Washington’s top bipartisan government relations firms.

ddow2, peopleDe’Ana Dow joined the firm on July 19th.  Dow has served in senior positions at the CME Group, the world’s largest derivatives exchange, and the New York Mercantile Exchange.  Dow began her legal career at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where she served in a number of capacities over her 22 years, including Counsel to Chairman William Rainer, during  the Clinton Administration, and Special Advisor to Chairman James Newsome, during the  Bush Administration.  Dow began her career on Capitol Hill working for Kentucky Democrat Senator Walter D. Huddleston.  

Dow will join former Securities and Exchange Commission counsel, Justin Daly, to spearhead this new practice area.  Daly has served in a number of senior government positions, including as chief securities counsel to both the House Financial Services Committee and the Senate Banking Committee.  As such, he has been involved in all aspects of major financial services legislation and regulation for more than a decade.
