2012 -- WAYNE BERMAN, one of the earliest supporters of George W. Bush and John McCain for president, will be supporting MITT ROMNEY in 2012. Berman, who began raising money for Romney’s PAC late last year, told us: “He's been through the process before, and knows what he did right and more importantly, what he did wrong. He's very disciplined, which his an extremely important leadership quality. His book [“No Apology”] gives voice to his core message, and really helps him clarify his message. I like the way he has tackled the issue of how his health program in Massachusetts is different from the one the president passed through Congress. It's a thorny issue, and he deals with it very directly -- he doesn't wait to be asked. He's a turnaround expert, and America is in need of a turnaround.”
